Wu-Tang Clan is a New York City rap collective consisting of members RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Widely considered one of the most influential groups in hip-hop history, Wu-Tang Clan pioneered a golden era of gritty New York rap, and made a seismic impact on the music and culture of the 1990s.
The Wu-Tang Clan was formed under a unique ethos – drawing on Times Square kung fu movies and comic books, Five-Percent Nation teachings, Eastern mysticism, and shared experiences in Staten Island. The group’s debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) became an instant classic upon its release in 1993. RZA’s grimy, sample-heavy production set the stage for the shadowy underworld lyrically conjured by each member across the album’s 13 masterful tracks. In an era otherwise soundtracked by synth-heavy, smooth west coast G-Funk, the lo-fi darkness enveloping 36 Chambers sounded hard-edged, yet cinematic.
In the wake of 36 Chambers’ success, five of the group’s nine members released debut solo albums between 1994 and 1996: Method Man’s Tical, Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Lynx..., Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version, GZA’s Liquid Swords and Ghostface Killah’s Ironman. Each was produced primarily, if not entirely, by RZA, and feature appearances by other Wu-Tang Clan members and a growing roster of affiliates.
In the summer of 1997, Wu-Tang Clan re-assembled to record and release Wu-Tang Forever. The heavyweight, near two-hour sophomore album – and its six-minute, chorus-less lead single “Triumph” – both debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Nearly 20 years later, Wu-
Tang Forever endures as a staggering testament to the group’s distinctive artistic vision and raw innovation.
Supreme has worked with Wu-Tang Clan for a new collection for Fall 2025. The collection consists of a GORE-TEX Jacket, Hockey Jersey, Hooded Sweatshirt, GORE-TEX Pant, T-Shirt, GORE-TEX Camp Cap, Beanie, Skateboard, Meissen® Mug and Tray.

The final chamber is upon us. The beats will hit harder. The rhymes will cut deeper. And the message will be louder than ever: Wu-Tang is forever.
