@coolstaggie@speakoutsister@bookbird71 Not every female has 2 X chromosomes. Some females have only 1 X chromosome (Turner Syndrome). Some females have 3 X chromosomes (Trisomy X Syndrome). Some females have XY chromosomes (Swyer Syndrome).
@HelenSimpson4@fireballfilms@cervixen I don't know why Feminists have such a hard time understanding that gender roles are the behaviors and roles allocated to the sexes. This isn't rocket science.
@ap_schulz@cervixen You just mentioned gender stereotypes again. "Gender stereotypes" refers to stereotypes about males and females... the 2 genders (sexes). You're contradicting yourself.
@ap_schulz@cervixen I did read the post. GC Feminists can't tell the difference between gender (sex) and socially constructed gender roles (masculinity/femininity).
@DonkinFaith@cervixen All I'm saying is that there is a difference between gender (sex) and socially constructed gender roles (masculinity/femininity).
@matthewburger@TheRabbitHole CAIS is a form of sex reversal. The SRY gene activates and testes develop. The testes produce testosterone and anti-mullerian hormones. CAIS embryos can't respond to testosterone because of nonfunctional androgen receptors. Male development was inhibited. They developed as female
@heikateryna@DrHoenderkamp@sharrond62 These people say they know what a woman is then proceed to define "woman" in a way that excludes other women. Sex isn't defined by chromosomes. It is defined by reproductive function. This is why people with Swyer Syndrome are female despite having XY chromosomes.
