Generation after generation fought tooth and nail for these rights - are we seriously going to allow this government to just take them away?
Today I'm wishing I could spend my 20s doing so many things other than constantly fighting against oppression and climate breakdown. I feel exhausted. My heart feels heavy. But I have to hold hope that one day young people won't have to fight thanks to the work we are doing now

The university is running scared!
Earlier today the university has threatened legal action. So let's be clear, @SEBuitendijk if you want our actions to stop them enter negotiations and come speak to us.
This also goes out to individuals who would like to meet up with people attending! (We are not attending as a group but may have some members travelling across.)
If you want to take part in the regional assembly this is in Sheffield (12pm, Barkers Pool). If anyone has any accessibility needs or wants some support getting to Sheffield pop us a quick message and we can see what we can do to help. :)

Love the point about the privilege that comes with only being inconvenienced by a climate protest , when people right now are facing climate catastrophes. People are being displaced by floods, and that will increase with the climate crisis - THAT is the biggest ‘inconvenience’
