This was a flight that HE Pdt Lourenco , chair of the AU put at my disposal to help me catch up another conference after the Luanda Summit on infrastructure . Our Union has no resources to rent a special flight to the AUC.
I thank HE . Pdt Lourenco .

Yesterday , pdt Guelleh honored me with the highest decoration of the country for years of dedication and hard work. now, it is time to turn this chapter of my career and move to the African Union to serve our continent and its peoples to the best of my ability .I am overwhelmed.

La décision de nos chefs d’état africains est tombée : ils m’ont confié la charge de diriger la CUA . C’est une très lourde responsabilité et j’en mesure l’importance : je m’engage à œuvrer pour faire avancer l’agenda continental : merci à tous pour votre soutien constant .
