The London Justice Centre has expanded to YOU’s Joan’s Place, bringing legal, housing & mental health supports directly to youth involved in the justice system. Together, we’re building stronger futures in London. More: https://t.co/WoHz0vpIsI #LondonJusticeCentre#JoansPlace
London Police Service's @LPSChiefTruong, and members, proudly participated in the grand opening of the new London Justice Centre today. This pioneering facility in Joan's Place is one of the province's first community-based justice centres, dedicated to addressing the root causes of crime, reducing recidivism, and improving outcomes for young adults, with the goal to help them avoid and exit the criminal justice system effectively.
This innovative model integrates justice matters within the community, focusing on the needs of citizens through front-end support and prevention strategies. By doing so, it improves outcomes for both offenders and victims, ensuring a holistic approach to justice.
We are pleased to collaborate with our community partners as they provide comprehensive, wraparound services for young people and their families. Together, we can create a safer and more supportive environment for all.

Another exciting milestone for @YOU_London ....and for me. It's hard letting go of something so dear, but great to know there's an amazing team and community behind it and soon, a strong and experienced new leader...https://t.co/tq2sJPa4X4
📢 We’re excited to share that Andrea Topham has been appointed as the new CEO of Youth Opportunities Unlimited! A community leader, values-driven CEO, and a former YOU team member, Andrea officially steps in this August, following the retirement of our longtime CEO Steve Cordes.
41 years ago today, I joined @YOU_London as its 1st Job Developer. So much has changed from when we were located in a social services incubator in a VERY marginal building. Things that haven't changed - still fun, still serving youth, still feeling very grassroots. #grateful
