Had ‘the talk’ recently with my two sons around interacting with the Police. @YStopUK’s video will really reinforce what I told them especially around receipts. Nice one @D_Tribal for the tip off! https://t.co/7m8hDMrGrS

[Naomi Robinson (She/Her) 🇺🇦🇸🇩 #NoWar #EndGenocide @DrugEdMCR]

@C4Dispatches @jjenas8 This is so shocking but not surprising. Working with young people I always encouraged them to know their rights, to ensure that all stop and searches are recorded by the police, but it shouldn't be this way. https://t.co/VdqcQNDPk7
The @YStopUK app is awesome too.

[Sian Berry @sianberry]

And police rely heavily on low numbers of complaints when justifying high rates of stop and search. I have tackled this problem in City Hall and urge more people to at least get their complaints on record. Through third parties like @YStopUK if concerned. https://t.co/QZZbGGcOS0

[Y-Stop @YStopUK]

It’s important that the experiences Black people go through are highlighted and amplified beyond the statistics and it’s great to see @jjenas8 listen to those voices

[Channel 4 Dispatches @C4Dispatches]

If you are Black in England and Wales you are nine times more likely to be stopped by police than a white person.

We asked 40 Black men to share their experiences of Stop and Search.
