By all accounts, today is a momentous day for YWS.
This morning, we gathered in downtown Toronto to announce our newest initiative, The Helix Project, and to celebrate the grand opening of Helix House.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our grand opening today. We are very excited to take our model of care and wrap-around supports to greater heights thanks to the dedicated support of our staff, donors, board members, and community allies.

IBC, a United Way donor, came to YWS earlier this month to cook a delicious lunch of chicken wings, burgers, and nachos! This was their first time joining us for some volunteer works, and hopefully won’t be the last – we had a blast!

20 laptops were dropped off to YWS today to be shared throughout the house based on greatest need. Laptops are used by residents for leisure, online learning, and with tutors. We are so grateful! Thank you
