Gotta let the sweaty streamers farm their gold misriahs in the first few days. Can't have them loading into PvP without it otherwise they'll cry that they have "no loot". Then we'll patch it once the sweaty 3-stacks get their headstart.
We have identified some issues affecting the progression systems and loot economy and will be rolling out a few fixes:
Cert containers: Fixing an issue causing more Cert containers to spawn than intended in Night Marsh.
Cradle: Given the increased quality and quantity of loot, we've increased progression costs by 25%.
We are also still tracking down more issues and will be adjusting loot drops globally while we investigate. We want loot to feel rewarding, but also not flood the economy with too many powerful items early in the season.
We'll continue to monitor these systems and feedback closely throughout the season.
So they generate stuff with AI and then touch it up manually and say that it is "human-crafted"? Fuck off. No wonder it looks worse than the previous trilogy
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis comes with an AI disclaimer on its Steam page
Crystal Dynamics told Eurogamer they โLeverage AI tools to help our teams iterate on ideas faster and more efficiently, while ensuring that all finished content in the final product is human-craftedโ
Let's see if this works... Image has some awkward sizing.
For those saying "Wait, where's Devrim?!" on our recently announced "Toast to the Monument" emblem, our blog preview was leveraging an earlier version of the art.
There were a few other additions, too, like Sagira!

Also the themes of the story too. All about not wanting to fit into a pattern but to be different and be yourself. To embrace who you are no matter what others say.
Reminder that the Destiny franchise has been 'woke' since the start.
Oryx, Mara, Saint-14, Osiris, Nimbus, Eramis, Ana, Devrim, Maya, Chioma, Micah-10, Micah's parents, Hawthorne, Eriana-3, the list goes on. There's a lot of queer characters. Happy pride month!

This upcoming Destiny update just shows that when the higher ups stop holding the devs back & just let them do their thing, Bungie most certainly has the sauce and knows exactly what they're doing. Listen to your employees, they know how to make games. The rich execs do not.
My guess lore-wise for the 'Distortions' is that they're either related to the Nine or else a sort of fallout of Eclipse energy from the destruction of Nightfall Station.

Look man Marathon is a really good game and I genuinely love it but Destiny just has that magical quality of not making me want to dive balls first into a woodchipper when I lose
