@IndianTechGuide There is no ban on authorised construction within 10 km of the Noida International AirPort. As per instructions of AAI only some height restrictions are imposed. Activities which attracts birds like slaughter houses are banned.

In a significant boost to India’s technology manufacturing sector, the Union Cabinet, chaired by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji, has approved the establishment of a new semiconductor unit in Uttar Pradesh. The unit is situated near the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar, under the jurisdiction of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA).

With an investment of ₹3,700 crore, this state-of-the-art facility—being set up through a HCL-Foxconn joint venture—will reinforce Uttar Pradesh’s growing prominence in the global semiconductor ecosystem. The unit will manufacture advanced display driver chips for mobile phones, laptops, automobiles, and PCs, with a production capacity of 20,000 wafers and 36 million units per month.

Building upon the recently launched Global Capability Centre Policy, this milestone marks a transformative step in India’s journey towards self-reliance in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing.

आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी के नेतृत्व में केंद्रीय कैबिनेट द्वारा आज उत्तर प्रदेश के यमुना प्राधिकरण क्षेत्र (YEIDA) में सेमीकंडक्टर यूनिट की स्थापना की स्वीकृति ‘आत्मनिर्भर भारत’ की दिशा में एक ऐतिहासिक कदम है।

₹3,700 करोड़ के निवेश से स्थापित होने वाली यह इकाई मोबाइल, लैपटॉप, ऑटोमोबाइल सहित अनेक उपकरणों के लिए डिस्प्ले ड्राइवर चिप्स का निर्माण करेगी।

भारत अब सेमीकंडक्टर निर्माण में वैश्विक नेतृत्व की ओर अग्रसर है और उत्तर प्रदेश उन्नत इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं सेमीकंडक्टर निर्माण का प्रमुख केंद्र बन रहा है।
