This LION LON kick was the foundation for the hip hop vibe to “Yes I Will”. With some EQ adjustments it really enhanced the clarity of the sounds. I’m going to show a bit of the transition from bass to 808, uncovering the artistry behind each layer.

Working on 'Yes I Will' I really kept vibez of the original piano with just Abes vocals as what drove the song. Every melody was created without the full production at first. Then tackled one the heavy drums, and 808 to bribg this song to life. See how it all came together.

The sweeping effect from the sound in 'Yes I Will' just felt right. 🎶 Each chord I played crescendos in volume, adding depth and dimension to the music that gave it a feel. The monophonic effect on top of that also gave it a unique flair.
