Welcome to my Twitter Account.
This is the master thread of all my past useful threads.
The threads are related to Trading Psychology, Motivation, Taxation, PF/VFP, My Experiences, Tips for Traders, Books to read etc
@Nithin0dha You are addressing only in point of a brokerage company and ignoring all small merchants who have to pay MDR. Didn't expect from you. It's like "Mera ghar theek chalna chahiye, baaki se mujhe matlab nahi hai."
Keeping UPI free is better for all small businesses.
@SriniVega For a trader there is no point in paying advance tax even if you are sitting in massive profits. I always pay tax on March 15 with penalty as it is 1% simple interest per month and you can earn more than that.
@SarangSood Most of the money seems going out of India thus reducing spending power :) But again it's negligible amount of people trading derivatives in India, so shouldn't bother them.. May be politicians children losing crores of rupees in this :)
Finally SEBI reviewing CAS. I think they will close derivative market by 3.15pm, that's the simple solution for traders. But, CAS can still be a problem for investors as during this period GTT orders can be triggered as stocks are moving -3%
@sanjufunda Even NASA failed many times, there is no shame in accepting a mistake. Once mistake is known and admitted, it earns immense respect but ignoring mistake is pure arrogance.
Cash market will face the heat too. Better to revert CAS, Old VWAP system is better and transparent.
@SEBI_India
"It takes guts and humility to admit mistakes. Admitting we're wrong is courage, not weakness."
- Roy T. Bennett
🚨If you thought CAS was only an F&O trader problem, Phase 2 just changed that.
CAS has now expanded to non-F&O stocks too.
Imagine this:
You buy a stock at ₹1,000 for a swing trade.
Your stop-loss is ₹950.
During the CAS, the stock suddenly falls to ₹900.
You want to exit at ₹950.
But the market is already closed.
Your stop-loss can't magically execute after the session ends.
You planned for a 5% loss.
You could now be sitting on a 10% loss.
And if the stock gaps down the next morning, the damage can get even bigger.
This is why CAS isn't an F&O vs equity issue.
It's a risk-management issue.
If your strategy depends on being able to exit at a specific price, you need to understand exactly what happens when trading is restricted.
Phase 1 affected F&O traders.
Phase 2 brings the same problem to the cash market.
@SConvergys@SarangSood Pledged funds can be used only for option selling.. For overnight 50-50 cash-noncash colletaral should be maintained to avoid penalty.. For cash colletaral you can buy govt securities, liquid funds, gilt funds and pledge them.
Valid Points raised by former MP Dr. Kirit Somaiya on CAS.
@SEBI_India simply cannot ignore our concerns and practical suggestions. CAS must be revoked immediately, reviewed and reintroduced later with better rules.
I wrote, requested SEBI Chairman to review & inquire about #CAS Manipulation & Volatility in last few minutes.
27 August BSE during last 12 minutes of trading at NSE/BSE Sensex crashed over 2,200 points & than recovered 2,000 points.
Want Action against Manipulators
@kirubaakaran My cousin in Chennai invested 25 lakhs in it and he withdrew his entire money and still have 25 lakhs left in coins. But, it's all luck.. No one knows when they will shut it down and early ones will be benefitted. Avoid such schemes.
