St George slaying the dragon from the the medieval wall paintings in the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul in Pickering which are believed to date back to around 1450. They were almost lost forever when they were covered with whitewash in the Reformation.
Greetings from Holy Trinity Goodramgate on St George's Day. St George is one of the saints featured in the East Window dating from c. 1476. There will be a brass rubbing activity available in the church all week if you are looking for things to do. Free, but donations welcome.
