Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer is a sad man right now. He has made a big career mistake
I he was badly advised to leave Manchester City to join Chelsea
Cole Palmer left Manchester City on the last day of the 2023 transfer window
Three years after, Cole Palmer's career is now in limbow
Cole Palmer's once beautiful career is in decline.
For a such a player who was used to playing elite football at Manchester City is now without the Champions league football
Cole Palmer is surrounded by mediocre team mates
At 24 , Cole Palmer was dropped from the England world cup team simply because he plays for Chelsea
If Cole Palmer is still at Manchester City, he would have won multiple trophies and still made it to the 2026 world cup in the US
Unfortunately,he plays for Chelsea and won't also play the 2026 UEFA champions league
I think Cole Palmer should leave Chelsea immediately to save his career
By the next world cup,Cole Palmer will be 28 years old
Moving to Chelsea by Cole Palmer has become a bad decisions
Regrettable decision.
He needs to move fast and leave now that transfer window is about to open
Cole Palmer needs to save his career
William Saliba deserves far more credit for his performance in the Champions League final. While a lot of the attention went elsewhere, Saliba quietly put on a defensive masterclass against one of the most dangerous forwards in world football.
Ousmane Dembélé came into the final in outstanding form, having been one of PSG’s biggest attacking threats throughout the competition. Yet whenever he tried to drive forward, Saliba was there…matching his pace, winning his duels, cutting off passing lanes, and refusing to give him space to operate.
What makes Saliba special is how effortless he makes defending look. He rarely dives into tackles, rarely panics under pressure, and always seems to be in the right position. Against a player as unpredictable and explosive as Dembélé, maintaining that level of composure on the biggest stage is incredibly difficult.
The Champions League final is where elite players prove themselves, and Saliba showed exactly why he is regarded as one of the best centre-backs in world football. Dembélé may have had an incredible season, but on the night, Saliba made life extremely difficult for him and demonstrated once again why strikers hate playing against him.
A true defensive masterclass from Arsenal’s defensive leader.
My instincts are telling me that Bruno Fernandes will still win the PFA Player of the Year award ahead of Declan Rice, Gabriel Magalhaes and David Raya.
Here's why I think he'll win it ahead of those players.
The PFA award is voted for by the players, and I'm convinced that many Premier League players will vote for Bruno, not necessarily because he deserves it more than Rice, Gabriel or Raya, but because they don't like Arsenal and they hate seeing us win and celebrate.
Trust me, if the PFA award was based purely on performance, Declan Rice would win it comfortably. This is a fact, not an opinion.😂
In the 2019 Season, Liverpool won the UEFA champions league trophy
Chelsea followed and won the UEFA champions league trophy in 2021
In 2023 season , Manchester City won the UEFA champions league trophy
From 2019 season to 2026, three English teams has won the UEFA champions league trophy.
That's within a space of 7 years.
Outside England, PSG has just won back to back champions league trophy
Of course Real Madrid had won the champions league trophy in 2015/2016 , 2016/2017, 2027/2018.
That was for three successive seasons.
However, there's something that has never happened in the premier league. It has never happened in the premier league history
For a team to the whole season unbeaten. To play 37 games without losing a single match
Arsenal did that under the legendary Arsene Wenger. Arsenal went 49 games unbeaten in the 2003/2004 premier league season
Arsenal went the whole season without losing a single match.
Their first loss was against Manchester United in the week 11 of the 2004/2005 season
22 years after, no team, no manager has come to that record.
There was Alex Ferguson, Raphael Benitez , Jose Mourinho, Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola.
None of these great managers has come close. It has never happened and it will never happened
Arsenal remains the only team that has gone a whole season without losing a single match
Arsenal was given a hold plated trophy. Arsene Wenger was inducted in the English Hall of Fame
Arsenal is h@ted for nothing. You can understand why they gang up against Arsenal
It's because of the INVINCIBLE.
The record is unmatched till today
AFC are not stupid____
Arsenal know what they’re doing stockpiling attacking talent like Dowman, the Quintero brothers, Ozhianvuna, Salmon, Mbemba and Monga.
All similar in age, already ultra smooth in the fundamentals, very complete for their profiles, and better than anyone physically for their age with room to make further leaps.
I think it’s partly a bet on the man 2 man meta reaching its peak soon and leveling down to talent that combine both physicality and skill.
Mbemba esp, the PSG U18 captain looks like a Gabriel Magalhães regen ffs but with a higher ceiling. Insane Talent bruv
Very good leap to win headers. Lovely long passing out to the wings, flat driven long passes that the wingers receive quickly. Able to play LB too. Really Fantastic Scouting.
In today’s game where many teams play a LB/LCB hybrid or a back 3, Mbemba is ideal for that role.
Arsenal have used the Mosquera strategy to snatch Mbemba. His contract expires this month's so they have long been in his ear and PSG will get only £150000 Compensation.
I Love the strategy
When Steve Morrow scored the winner for Arsenal in the 1993 League Cup final, it should have been the perfect day.
It was his first goal for the club.
Arsenal had beaten Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 at Wembley, and Morrow had scored the goal that settled it.
Instead, the moment most people remember happened after the final whistle.
As the celebrations got underway, Tony Adams came charging over, grabbed Morrow and hoisted him onto his shoulders.
Then he slipped.
Morrow landed awkwardly and knew straight away it was more than just a knock.
“The only way to break my fall was to stick my arm out and I just knew right away.”
“I felt an unbelievable pain.”
So while the rest of the Arsenal players were celebrating winning the cup, the man who had actually won it for them was being taken to hospital with a broken arm.
He missed the post-match party.
He missed the trophy presentation.
And instead of enjoying the occasion at Wembley, he watched the rest of it from a hospital bed.
“My special memory of the day is of scoring the goal.”
“It still gives me goosebumps.”
Adams was not exactly in the mood to celebrate either.
The following day he turned up at the hospital to apologise and, according to Morrow, arrived bearing gifts.
A crate of champagne.
Which was not much use to a man lying in bed with a broken arm.
Morrow missed the remainder of the season, including the FA Cup final against Sheffield Wednesday a few weeks later.
Before that match, Arsenal brought him onto the pitch and presented him with his League Cup winners’ medal.
The TRUTH is, Myles Lewis-Skelly showed exactly why so many people at Arsenal rate him so highly. Despite having limited experience starting in central midfield at senior level, he looked remarkably composed on one of the biggest stages in football.
Arsenal may not have achieved the result they wanted, but Lewis-Skelly's performance was another reminder of his immense potential. His positioning, ball recoveries, and willingness to take responsibility stood out throughout the game, displaying a maturity well beyond his years.
To perform with that level of confidence in a Champions League final says a lot about his character. Becoming only the second-youngest English player to start a Champions League final is an achievement in itself, but it was the quality of his display that really caught the eye.
From breaking through as a left-back option to proving he can operate comfortably in midfield, his development has been impressive. If this is the level he's producing now, We the Arsenal supporters have every reason to be excited about what comes next.
You are free to disagree with me, but after watching Viktor Gyökeres score that free-kick against Greece, you can't tell me that Declan Rice should keep taking all of Arsenal's set-pieces.
This guy has great technique and has always shown an ability to score from set-pieces.
We saw it before he even joined Arsenal.
What I don't understand is why, since arriving at Arsenal, Mikel Arteta has never fully trusted him in those situations. It feels like he is being used as if he is not one of our key players.
For sure, I believe Viktor Gyökeres deserves a bigger role—not only in terms of playing time, but also when it comes to taking set-pieces.
Because when you have a player with that kind of technique, you have to use it.
Josh Kroenke deserves a lot of credit for staying patient with Arteta when many fans wanted him gone. Instead of changing managers at the first sign of trouble, the ownership backed the project, funded the rebuild, and gave Arteta the authority to reshape the squad. Whether one agrees with every decision or not, that level of consistency played a major role in Arsenal's resurgence.
Arsenal played the best football in the 2022/2023 season and 2023/2024 premier league season.
Arsenal could have comfortably won the league title if they have the squad depth
In each of the two seasons, Arsenal came very close but lost out with a few matches to go
For instance, Arsenal finished second on the table on 84 points and 89 points behind Manchester City
The heartbreak and disappointment made Mikel Arteta to act differently in the summer of 2025/2026 premier league season
Arsenal decided to follow and path and change their story.
In that season, Arsenal decided to fortify the team.
Mikel Arteta brought in 8 new players and that decision because the defining moment for Arsenal.
In the 2025/2026 premier league season, Arsenal had two players in every positions .
That was the difference between Arsenal and other clubs
In that season, Arsenal win the league title for the first time. Reach the UEFA champions league final, Carabao Cup finals and the semi finals of the FA cup
That was a new level by any standard. That was an outstanding season.
Now ,to do better than last season, I believe Arsenal needs four more new players players
Arsenal needs players that will make them better to go for three major trophies in the 2026/2027 season
The question now , who are these players? Which positions?
For me, Arsenal needs four new players. Right back, creative midfielder and a winger on the left side of the field
Morgan Rogers and Sandro Tonali will be a mad addiction to the squad.
Morgan Rogers and Sandro Tonali may not be creative but they are strong, powerful and aggressive.
Morgan Rogers will give goals and assist.
Sandro Tonali will cover every part of the pitch with aggression
Morgan Rogers will give you goals and assist that's why Arsenal should act fast and bring him back to the Emirates
What are your thoughts?
Let's talk
Emile Heskey predicts that defending champions Arsenal will fail to retain the Premier League in 2026/27, forecasting them to drop to fourth place behind Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool.
He cited Manchester City's squad depth and winning mentality as reasons for their continued dominance.
👉Every ex player turned pundit want to use Arsenal to stay relevant. Emile Heskey saying Manchester City will reclaim the league. They didn't reclaim the league for two years when Arteta finished above them in the league, is it now that they would reclaim it?
May be, he didn't know that Maresca would be their new head coach as from next season, and he has never beaten Mikel Arteta as a coach.
He will also introduce his own philosophy which might take the players time to blend in.
Talking about Manchester United and Liverpool finishing above Arsenal. Has he forgotten that those two clubs are in transition?
Michael Carrick might have perforrm wonders in the just concluded season, let's see what he has to offer as from next season, expecially with the departure of Casemiro.
As for Liverpool, I don't have any thing to say because,in as much as I like Andoni Iraola, he will be another Brendan Rogers to them.
What ever Emile Heskey is smoking, he should ask for a new one because the former one has expired
If you look at this photo closely, you'll know your club's level and where it belongs in the banter hierarchy.
In England, if a Liverpool or Manchester United fan banters Arsenal, I understand because they're ahead of us when it comes to league titles, even though most of those titles were won between the 1800s and the 1980s when the majority of their fans weren't born.😂
What I don't understand is seeing Chelsea fans, who should be comparing themselves with Sunderland and Aston Villa in terms of league titles, trying to banter Arsenal. It's a huge sign of disrespect, to be honest.
Even Manchester City, who are ahead of Chelsea in English football and have won more league titles, don't have the audacity to banter Arsenal the way some Chelsea fans do.
Anyway, I totally understand their strategy. If you want to get noticed, you have to go after those at the top. Nobody talks about the clubs beneath them.😂😂
Arsenal fans are becoming one of the most ungrateful fanbases when it comes to Martin Ødegaard.
How can people suddenly want him out of the club after everything he has done for Arsenal’s rise back to the top?
Before Ødegaard arrived permanently in 2021, Arsenal were struggling to establish themselves among the Premier League elite. Since then, he has become the heartbeat of Mikel Arteta’s project, helping transform Arsenal from a team fighting for European places into genuine title challengers and Premier League champions.
As captain, Ødegaard has led by example. He won Arsenal’s Player of the Season award in consecutive years and established himself as one of the most influential midfielders in Europe. His creativity, vision, pressing intensity, and ability to control games have been central to Arsenal’s success.
Even when supporters claim he is having a poor season, they often overlook everything he brings to the team. Ødegaard is more than goals and assists. He dictates the tempo, creates chances, leads the press from the front, and connects midfield with attack better than almost anyone in the squad.
People also forget that every elite player goes through periods of inconsistent form. The same fans who celebrate a player during the good times are often the first to turn on them when performances dip. Yet Ødegaard has already proven his quality over several seasons and has been one of the main reasons Arsenal returned to competing for the biggest trophies.
Without Martin Ødegaard, Arsenal do not become the team they are today. He helped restore belief to the club, became the face of Arteta’s rebuild, and captained Arsenal through one of the most successful periods in recent history.
A few difficult months should never erase years of leadership, consistency, and excellence. Arsenal fans should remember where the club was before Ødegaard arrived and appreciate the enormous role he has played in bringing Arsenal back to the top.
