If you’re reading this, I’m either: prepping for LSAT, snorting coke off ScarJo’s ass, flipping phones, or reading psych. // I’ll be back - THE Arnold Schwarz
Shit is supposed to feel uncomfortable when you start trying to improve your life.
Your subconscious has a comfort zone and here you come, trying to evict it.
So all that anxiety & fear, it means you’re doing right.
Don’t let it stop you though, shut it the fuck up.
New things are supposed to feel uncomfortable.
You're taking your subconscious out of its comfort zone & you can't brainwash it into thinking otherwise.
What you can do is find meaning in the discomfort.
For 3 years, I spent more time talking to people 4 times my age than I did my peers.
Can’t even describe the benefits; their stories. charisma, perspectives.
Talk to your elders.
You're struggling to get things done because you work with your phone close by, you're caught up on some bullshit from Tuesday, and there's a television in plain sight.
You'd feel less anxious if you lived in the moment more.
Working on a project?
→ Focus on the project
Eating?
→ Focus on the meal
On vacation?
→ Focus on the views
Risk Aversion. Loss Aversion.
Your brain is standing in the way of you creating wealth.
It doesn’t like uncertainty & losing money.
We’d rather not lose $$ than gain an equal or greater amount.
The bulk of your thoughts are repetitive. 90%+.
If you want to be weighed down by yesterday's bullshit, that's on you.
If not:
→ Grab a pen & paper
→ Break down the causes of your conflicts
→ Craft steps to solve & close the loop
Bank robbers don't sit on the couch, spitting affirmations for the vault money to appear because they know.
They know the Law of Attraction is really the Law of Action.
To change the conditions of your life, change the root cause.
The root cause isn't your mother.
It's not the world.
It's not the universe.
It's your subconscious mind.
Mold it to change the direction of your life.
