I refuse to fight a man selling coffee and mandazi just to feed his family in Bunjumbura while Kenyan girls travel to Saudi Arabia to work as house managers.

Rose Kimanzi was gang raped inside of a police station on 22nd Oct 2025. We've taken this matter as far as we are able to. Please help us amplify @ODPP_KE@DCI_Kenya@IPOA_KE this couple needs justice.
Thank you.
The problem is not people being uneducated.
The problem is that people are educated just enough to believe what they have been taught, and not educated enough to question anything from what they have been taught.
If you blame a foreigner, who without connections, doesn’t speak sheng, or any other Kenyan language, maybe not good in English, for your misery and joblessness , you must be a big piece of shit!!
The UN has passed a resolution calling for the traditional world map to be replaced with one that accurately reflects the size of Africa.
The Togo-sponsored resolution was backed by most member states with US voting against it. Six countries abstained.
STATEMENT: Alex Kiprotich’s abduction, days after President Ruto said no Kenyan should lose their liberty or dignity for expressing an opinion, raises serious concerns for media freedom.
We call for an independent investigation and accountability for those responsible. Journalists must be free to work without fear of abduction or reprisals.

Technology-facilitated gender-based violence is real, and its impact is far beyond the screen. From online harassment and cyberstalking to threats, image-based abuse and digital control, women and girls deserve safety, dignity and freedom both online and offline.
We need a return to analog culture: handwritten letters, seeing films in the cinema, reading books, in-person visits, time in the outdoors. We weren't meant to spend our whole lives online. The joys of tangible living are something no one can take from you.

Injustice thrives when it's ignored. Accountability exists when it's demanded. Privacy matters when it's protected. Change happens when people act, not just post. Rights and freedoms don't protect themselves; they depend on people who question, participate, organize, and refuse to stay silent.

What does a morning routine reveal about power and gender roles?
Today we are at a Community Dialogue in, Gatundu North, we asked participants to write down everything they had done since waking up which were then read aloud anonymously, and the room was asked to guess the author's sex based solely on their routine.
When a note reading "I woke up and had breakfast" was shared, the consensus was immediate: Male.
The reason given by the room? "Hawakupika chai."
Before anyone reaches the farm or market, morning routines reveal who owns time and who carries the invisible weight of care work.Unpaid domestic labor isn't just culture. It’s an economic filter determining who enters the day rested and who enters it exhausted.
When men share the domestic load, it isn't a loss of identity, it’s an investment in family resilience. Less household burnout means higher earning power, better planning, and stronger homes.
Culture changes the moment a community sees the pattern and chooses to shift it.
Can you comfortably sit in a deep squat? Millions have discovered they cannot.
Experts say modern lifestyles are causing many people to lose this basic movement, despite it being a key marker of mobility and flexibility
