small nitpick for those making custom deltarune dialogue:
when making a textbox with susie, susie *never* uses her chapter 1 portraits past chapter 1. never mix a ch1 portrait in with ch2+ portraits
even the ones that resemble the ch1 portraits are different!
this is what depression looks like
hell the part with her getting overwhelmed with cleaning her room and finding showering a pain in the ass is literally how I felt before I started treating my ADHD
very telling how people are reacting to this. Depression has been romanticized
this movie has honestly become a litmus test for media literacy and misogyny, and it's genuinely terrifying to see how many people (coughmencough) are failing to comprehend the basics of consent & autonomy
My theory: The moment Nikki started walking backwards out of the room wasn’t just creepy,it was the real Nikki fighting back.
I think she wanted to attack, or even kill, Bear after everything he’d done to her. But Wish Nikki essentially hit a manual override, forcing her body to retreat before the real Nikki could act.
It felt less like she was choosing to leave… and more like she was being dragged out against her own will.
Did anyone else interpret that scene this way, or do you think something else was happening?

Bear was awful from the start.
People say Bear only became the villain after the wish, but I disagree.
When his cat dies, his immediate reaction isn’t guilt or accountability, it’s confusion over how the cat got the pills, even though that could only have happened because of his own negligence. Later, when he wants to buy Nikki a gift, he quickly gives up on finding something she’d genuinely appreciate and instead walks away with the One Wish Willow.
Then there’s the wish itself. He doesn’t wish for Nikki to choose him or for their relationship to grow naturally. He wishes for her to love him more than anyone else in the world, which means her own wants and feelings no longer matter. Even if he believed it was just a harmless novelty, the fact that this was his deepest desire says a lot about how he viewed Nikki long before the curse ever took hold. That’s what makes it so disturbing.

obsession is a very straightforward movie so it gives dumb people the chance to feel like they’re smarter than everyone for finally being able to get the point of a horror movie
