Zimborders was awarded a Build, Operate and Transfer project by government for the expansion, upgrading, improvement and modernisation of the Beitbridge Border Post. Raubex was then appointed by Zimborders as the contractor to execute the project.
ZimBorders is a consortium of South African and Zimbabwean investors, while Raubex is one of SA’s leading infrastructure development and construction materials supply groups.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa Mnangagwa will tour the newly-built Beitbridge Border Post on Wednesday, part of the US$300m project to upgrade Zimbabwe's busiest border town. The project by ZimBorders, executed by South Africa's Raubex Group, has changed the face of the busy town.
