If stronger monetary rules don't attract capital and economic consensus doesn't matter, Bitcoin has bigger problems than BIP110.

Close the exploits. Reduce uncertainty. Confidence attracts capital.

I have many friends that are not aligned with my stance on BIP-110.

My respect for people in this space is based on many factors.

I live here on X as I live in life.

Strength and Honor.

And Kindness.

Kindness because now I am an old warrior. I did not have that when young.

What people misunderstand is that my stance on BIP-110 is driven by principled, deep conviction built on what I believe is needed for Bitcoin to survive centuries.

Nodes need to control the network. Not miners. The software protocol and developers need to work for the nodes. Not miners.

And not work for secondary use cases or defi protocols or arbitrary data that adversely impact the primary purpose of Bitcoin: money.

Peer to peer electronic cash.

An intolerant psychopath with a grenade is actually good for Bitcoin. This concept of softforks is part of the protocol.

I believe BIP-110 will succeed at the last minute just as previous softforks have occurred.

But here is what you need to know. I don't care. Nothing will change if it fails.

I am still a pyschopath with a grenade. I will not stop supporting any proposal that causes friction and cost for arbitrary data or secondary use cases adversely affecting the base layer.

I have never felt you could stop spam on the network. What I have believed is that you must fight it by making it difficult and expensive.

A warrior mentality pushes scammers to another network because they know whatever shit they put on the network as the "new NFT" might be gone next month.

Core could have done this right after the inscriptions hack. Instead they redefined data carrier size and started a whole stream of consciousness discussion around what is spam.

I am here. I'm not going away. With a grenade.
