Metro is a means of transport.
It helps move people.

It does not reduce traffic.

If Metros reduced traffic then Delhi, London & New York would be traffic-free.
(And Andheri-Ghatkopar would be traffic free too)

This small link will connect South Mumbai to suburbs beyond Vile Parle with a single change of line.

This will go a long way in decongesting WEH.

Chembur tree death: BMC has suspended a assistant garden superintendent Jagdish Bhoir following the death of a 11 year old boy after a peepal tree crushed his school bus in which he was travelling on Tuesday evening. The order states that the June 30 incident at around 2.58 pm on 11th Road Chembur (East), where a roadside peepal tree fell on a passing Universal School bus, revealed “prima facie/substantial negligence.”

The suspension will remain in force pending a preliminary and departmental inquiry into the circumstances that led to the fatal accident.

So water can flow out when its not raining
& water can store in lake when it rains
