nagano is not a company. nagano is a solo artist who had gotten the EXTREMELY RARE opportunity to have their series become so big worldwide. this is an artists dream — not every artists dream, but a lot of artists do dream of being able to live off their art.
I'm a Japanese Warriors fan.
Chiikawa is a character created by the Japanese artist Nagano.
With that fact in mind, I’ll explain the position of those who are criticizing you.
You created this product to celebrate both the Warriors and Chiikawa.↓
I remember playing in early 2.x and being excited knowing that childe has siblings and thinking that snezhnaya is going to be a long time later 😿 how'd it happen so fast
Anybody blaming this on the artist isn't criticising in good faith. The client had time to state their issues and never did, end of story. The artist could've and should've but the client DID notice and had the chance to say it. But they didnt.
Mas a maioria das pessoas q postam reviews, foi pq NAO TEVE comunicação com o artista.
É sempre assim:
> artista "oii terminei, oq vc achou? Oq vc quiser mudar me avisa!"
> cliente "obrigado! Esta otimo"
> cliente dá review de 1 estrela reclamando
> artista: ??
Everyone has their own judgement and I have also thought that someones prices are too much, but art is a luxury and most of the time; the prices do make sense
It is up to the artist to decide, and im not saying that criticizing ppl arent allowed, its just the standards are horrid
. I feel like (in certain platforms) underpricing your art when selling commissons has been normalized and has turned into a standard and some people have gotten used to it hence they like to make comments onto people who DONT underprice their art (1/?)
of course i dont have an issue with artists who underprice their art, its just its becoming a standard to price a rendered bust for $5?
This is situational & depends on the artist+outcome, but if a proficient artist who spends 4 hrs on a bust then no, $20 for it isn't overpriced
