Maybe government shouldn’t devalue our purchasing power by spending 2+ trillion dollars more than it takes in? I’d suggest reading Economics in One lesson by Henry Hazlitt.
Just a quick understanding for you Josh. Since the Federal Reserve was enacted in 1913, inflation has increased by 3,172.48% meaning going by your yearly wage today, which based on a FT position. That 37,181 equates to 17.87/hour. Today, to have that same purchasing power as 1913 prior to the Federal Reserve, that same person would have to make $584.79/hour today. I don’t think it’s so much Private entities as it is you and every other member in Congress and every Congress prior to you for at least the last 120+ years that have indebted our Citizens through fraudulent Usury engagements, unconstitutional warmongering, horrific Monetary policy.
The wages aren’t the problem. Respectfully you are as well as everyone else who approves and signs off on omnibus bills, that don’t benefit America at all.
59 years ago today, Israel attacked the USS Liberty in international waters. 34 crew members were killed and 174 were wounded by the IDF.
Today, I spoke on the House floor to honor the fallen and to recognize the survivors who were present in the gallery.
Thomas Massie delivers the truth about the intentional Israeli attack against the USS Liberty on the House Floor on the 59th year anniversary of the attack and calls for a real investigation.
He says there was a 17-hour delay in receiving help after they were under attack by Israel.
“It was intentional murder by the state of Israel.”
“The Israelis were intent to leave no survivors.”
“This was an effort to kill everyone on board.”
So the ones that don’t believe in the trinity, or the prosperity Gospel churches. All of those are Christian and teach the same things Christ did? The Mormons, the Jehovas Witness they all follow the teachings of Christ? The Unitarian Churches? You’re implying there is no difference in Early Church teachings and the 40k plus denominations? There is nothing being taught today amognst all denominations that is varied or flat out false from the original Teachings of Christ? Why didn’t Christ speak in plurality when he spoke to Peter and the disciples? Why didn’t he say his church(es)?
Ok, so you agree historically the Catholic Church began in 33AD. You deny they are the first Christians. But doesn’t it say in Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
So if Christ is speaking to his Disciples, and teaching to the Jew and Gentiles, the Roman’s, the slaves. And they accept and practice his teachings, would they not be the early Christians? And if he founded his Church upon Peter, and through apostolic succession and the magestarium guided by the Holy Spirit for 2000 years is not the church Christ envisioned, and those were not the actual early Christians that learned from Christ.
Who were the early Christians, and what Church did Christ found, and what is its name?
Mormonism for example denies the very trinity that the Catholic and even Orthodox churches teach and uphold. They also use their own scriptures from Joesph Smith. Explain how the faith endures when other denominations change via their own interpretations. That doesn’t strengthen the faith, it destroys it and leads people astray into false understanding. The church is upheld through apostolic succession or “laying of hands”. Not someone that read the scripture and formed their own understanding, more so explain how the words are strengthened when Luther and Calvin removed 7 books from the Cannon 1500 years after Christ started the church.
Providing the words of Christ that “the gates of Hades shall not overcome it”. If the Catholic Church which is 2000 years old is not His true church, therefore it falls, would that also not mean Christ was a liar, therefore not the messiah? Which should be the best defense of not letting his church fail and promoting unity under Catholicism for all denominations?
@Twinkytwinsmama@RubenGallego@grok provide the historical start year for the Catholic Church, also provide the Aramaic for Peter (Kefas) which means Stone. Provide Matthew 16:18 and provide the context to why the Catholic Church is considered the Universal Church of Christ, and is the true denomination.
