@rampagejackson Quinton, Quinton, Quinton.... you're defending premeditated assault. Seems like your son was still in his feelings about getting tapped with that spin kick in sparring, which gave him that concussion, and he took advantage of a man who trusted him with his well-being.
When I broke into this business, I despised most of the veterans.
I resented the way they treated the new wrestlers. It was plain to see that many of them were insecure, weak men. They were so desperate to cling to their position that they'd try to shit on anybody they felt was a threat.
This is a tough business, no doubt. But before we're pro wrestlers, we're human beings. Those 40 Milers didn't care about that and often took joy in mentally breaking down the new guys (or attempting to fuck the new girls).
Almost 25 years ago, I made a vow to myself then when I became a veteran - When I had the experience and authority to influence the next generation of professional wrestlers - That I wouldn't do what these bitter, jaded assholes were doing.
I love professional wrestling. I want professional wrestling to flourish long after I'm done in the ring. In order for that to happen, I need to capitalize on every opportunity I can to help the ones who are next up be better.
Now, I have my own way of doing that to be sure. I might be an old dog but if you get in the ring with me - Whether it's in training or on a show - You aren't in for an easy night. I'm going to test your heart and your will to succeed. I'm going to push you to your limits. I'm going to make you better.
Because I decided long ago that I would leave this business better than I found it. Pro wrestling owes me nothing and I owe it so much. It's the least I could do.
So that's exactly what I'm going to do - Until the wheels fall off.
Thank you for the last 8 1/2 years!
Being a professional wrestler has been a dream of mine since I could form memories and I will continue to do so till the good Lord says otherwise.
