@lndexium Main reason they added it to US is probably because UK is getting the Aussie M1A2C and in order to prevent any Outcry about "why are they getting it but we don't" they just added it to US too.
@Hakuryuu5986@MacMillanSpaTTV It couldn't even fire them, it was planned but never implemented due to cost reasons (and the USN already getting the Hornet with AIM 120). The AIM 120 was only testfired from a specially modified F-14A a few years earlier.
@realMardock@MarigatouDesu Only partly, it is a bit weird. It is a private company but a part of it belongs to the State, however it is still profit-oriented instead of being fully funded and supported by taxes and such like it is in other countries. It causes them to be slow and safe money where possible.
@VeryBadSCAVR Would also make sense with the "Wedge Formation" as the Goons would fill the role of Rifleman (Birdeye), Automatic Rifleman (Knight) and Grenadier (Big Pipe)
@VeryBadSCAVR In the recent questline, there is a mention of Knight also wanting to access the Icebreaker (in one of the quests: "Knight is trying to track some kind of facility in the gulf, still inside the blockade perimeter... and reach it"), maybe Goons are working with the new Boss?
@yoursordinary Amazing artwork, excited to see it finished!
(Just a quick sidenote: The Viggen would be AJS as its primary role is Ground Attack, only the JA 37 starts with J and doesn't have an S as it cant do Recon. JAS is only a thing for the JAS 39 Gripen)
@marcogroenhof@AlmaMaito@obkatiekat Yes it is standard here. Some leave/have the Kitchen but it usually is specifically mentioned in the listing and quite often you need to pay for it (or your rent is a bit higher) and if you want to take it out/modernize it you have to ask the landlord for permission.
@KopSlim@worldoftanks And what do you do with the lines where there is no fitting irl T11 counterpart? How do you prevent people to draw irl connection and have expectations from a tank in an Arcade game where balancing is done by numbers and not based on irl performance.
@Anonymous782350@Mikelan125R I am just gonna throw in this image of the AJS 37 here. The Viggen did for the longest time use this camo scheme due to Sweden using trees and other natural cover to hide jets next to roads as part of their dispersed runway system. The camo is meant to hide the jet from the sky.
@pandramodo@Confrade51 Can't wait for Gripen-Chan attire. Also will the F-22, F-35 etc have longer Coats instead of normal Jackets or Hoodies to match their attire more closely?
@tacticow Denmark originally acquired standard M109 with the short barrel in the 60s or so. Later they were upgraded to the A3 variant which stayed in service like that until rather recently. (Also a quick side note: Only the M109A6 variant has the nickname Paladin)
@CPTTANKERJOEv2 Rheinmetall also has factories in the USA where they produce various ammunition, spare parts for vehicles of the US Military, help develop new vehicles and also produce certain trucks, robots and more.
