Sometimes I feel like many people don't know much about healthcare in our country.
This place isn't like what you see in the resident, Grey's anatomy or any of those shows.
Your leaders have intentionally underdeveloped it.
Stop fighting those managing the crippled system.
The contrast is striking.
On one side, flooded streets, stranded commuters and residents counting their losses after the rains.
On the other, an awards night celebrating excellence in public service.
Who determines the winners? What benchmarks are used? And how is performance measured?
I’m genuinely curious.
They don’t shake up things. They become like your ordinary politician. I hate politics so much it pisses me off. I see people who i can bet would even do worse trying to get in there and i get sadder for this country
In the end the ‘Patient’ suffers, and that’s YOU, the Kwasia Foot soldier who’s writing nkwasiasem on Twitter. the people you’re defending will go to US or Europe for care, and you even Korle Bu koraa you can’t afford na UGMC, be there. Sia
C’mon man, you need to at least wait for it to be public before jumping the gun.
Also, we need to stop these vote of thanks we extend to these people when they do their jobs.
They are public servants not our benefactors
@koboateng 2. Government listening is the standard, they are public servants for a reason and this is why they keep thinking they are doing us a favour. We’ve just been abused for so long we now deem rights as privileges
We demand too much of doctors. Its a failed health system as it is. They are victims too because how precarious is it to keep crowding an over capacity emergency centre when the country isn't at war. That's how pandemics start. How will patients even heal in such conditions?
@NggrHobi Politicians enjoy entirely way too much peace.
They live long heathy lives.
They have no natural predators in the wild.
They have soft hands and leave behind 50 page wills.
No natural predators in the wild😭🤣. Aren't we supposed to be their natural predators? SK is quick to have any minister fooling yeeted. Even their presidents don't get a pass🤣. We're joking in Ghana
We cannot keep telling them to perform magic with the little they have, and when it's not enough to cater for others, we use those victims as justification for blaming health workers. All this being done, and politicians get to isolate themselves from it entirely.
