@NextBestPicture @nasstypov And at any rate, I think you of all people should know how much work goes into starting a platform for film criticism! Recently, we've even gotten screeners like Nickel Boys and Severance S2. We don't care about being seen as "precursors", but what we do isn't nothing either.

@NextBestPicture @nasstypov We've never claimed to be professional critics, but I feel like this is a tad dismissive. We've posted hundreds of reviews and Oscar predictions. It's not possible for everyone to pursue film criticism as a career, but we hone our skills because we're passionate about the medium.
