Romeo Lavia is a 1 of 1 talent, most of what Bouaddi did yesterday, the security on the ball, the turning away from pressure & thé physical dominance, Lavia at physical peak has it & is perhaps even more mobile.

To replace Lavia you need to sign a talent of the same quality which is why I wanted Bouaddi.

But if you can’t get similar level of talent you keep Lavia. Low wages & still a massive massive massive ceiling + is a profile we lack in the squad

Brazil lack a facilitator in the final third for their attack to be effective. I'm not surprised a lot of their attacks consistently broke down before materializing into something potent

A player who would make the ball stick in the final third, bring others into play, provide a +1 for midfield progression, and activate the wide runs of Vini & Raphinha who are two of the best breakers in Europe. Basically what Firmino did for Mane & Salah under Klopp

Joao Pedro would have provided this (Cunha can also do this to an extent), but JP would have also provided better hold up play than Igor Thiago with a similar level of box dominance and aerial presence too

No disrespect to Igor Thiago but he's the sort of profile you bring on in the second half when chasing a game but isn't the guy you want starting games

Ancelotti's loss is Chelsea's gain as a fully fit and emotionally/mentally motivated Joao Pedro is what Alonso needs going into next season

Toyota made $25B in profit last year, almost 7x what Tesla made, and has a market cap less than 1/4 of Tesla. If Tesla had a market cap based on profit, it would be worth $40B, nearly 1/35th it's current value, and Musk's shares would be worth around $8B instead of nearly $300B. His entire fortune is fake.
