Kuminga would be a phenomenal add to the Lakers. Schematically you can see this with his time in GSW of Steph and the stats back it up too.

This is a trade the Lakers need to make and should make if they really want to be a step above the rest next year.

Jonathan Kuminga 23-24’ (Career-High):

16.1 PPG on 53% FG (32% 3PT)
60% TS

Granted this came with over 60% of his shots within 10ft, but he shot 42% on corner threes

Kuminga is a highly efficient rim runner in transition with the ability to space the floor

Overall you’re getting a player who’s twice as efficient from 3 and can attack closeouts and create pressure twice as well too?

I am all for rules experimentation by the NBA during summer league. It's the perfect testing ground. But if the league has any intention of bringing this "one free throw" change to the big show, the competition committee better put the kibosh on it immediately.
