Founders always ask me what type of traction they need to raise a seed round and my answer is always the same…
You don’t need traction, you need momentum 📈
This means that the company is moving forward, growing month over month with respect to customers or pipeline, product development, partnerships, hiring etc.
Investors want to feel that rush of progress on all fronts which can’t always be distilled down to one metric.
There are three parts of the brain:
• Survival
• Social
• Logical
If you want to persuade people so you can:
• Close Sales
• Raise Money
• Win Negotiations
You need to know how to talk to all three parts!

Visualizing is so important
