@TitaniumArc@RedRoomDancer_ Natasha nodded her head, her eyes on the door Natalia had just passed through to get to the workshop.
“Just... I ask one thing. I want her to know nothing but love. I want her to know that it isn’t just for children..”
@TitaniumArc@RedRoomDancer_ “I’m trying my best, you know? It’s not exactly easy knowing someone took my DNA and made another life from it. But it isn’t Natalia’s fault. She’s a good kid Tony.”
She nods, patting his shoulder.
“If you every need help... let me know.”
@RedRoomDancer_@TitaniumArc “It took me a long time to become this person Tony, I’m just thankful she won’t have that same road in front of her. How I was raised, that’s no way for a child to grow up.” She murmurs, leaning back to look up at him.
@RedRoomDancer_@TitaniumArc Natasha waits until Natalia is long out of earshot before she silently pulls Tony into a tight hug, squeezing him gently before she whispers in his ear. “Thank you. You’re so good for her Tony, I can see that. She’ll be everything I didn’t get to be.”
@RedRoomDancer_@TitaniumArc “Oh she’s absolutely a Stark...”
She murmurs softly, hoping Tony will let the girl go so that they may speak in private for a moment.
@RedRoomDancer_@TitaniumArc “Sure I would. You deserve to freely explore your own identity without having so much of me looming over you. I’ve not been Natalia for a long time...”
@RedRoomDancer_@TitaniumArc “Well, I’m due a change...” She gestures to her hair, “I should be stepping back a little from this... this shared identity for a little bit to give Natalia a little more space to relax into herself.”
@RedRoomDancer_@TitaniumArc “She’s right, no I’ve got an idea. Let me change something okay? You shouldn’t have to alter yourself to fit in Natalia, especially at your age.”
She nods, casting her eyes towards Tony with a concerned look. “Do the authorities know the full truth?”
@RedRoomDancer_@TitaniumArc It was indeed a heavy question, one that she really should have been prepared for.
“I... wish I could answer that for you. Honestly, you really are identical to me and sometimes people might forget. But that’s not an excuse. Maybe... I can come up with a better way to tell us-
@RedRoomDancer_@TitaniumArc “Yeah, yeah lounge...”
She nods, being as gentle as she could as she led the girl to the lounge and offered her first pick of the seats. Natalia opted for the corner of one of the sofas, hugging her knees to her chest.
“Don’t worry kid, you’re alright.”
@RedRoomDancer_@TitaniumArc “There is the lounge? Would that be okay?”
She suggests, tilting her head slightly.
“Also maybe some snacks huh? I remember my own time as a dancer, you need to keep your energy up, it’s important and I’m sure your dad would agree.”
She tugged slightly on Tony’s hand, to -
@RedRoomDancer_@TitaniumArc “Hey...”
Natasha frowned, burying her own pride before stepping forward, reaching to squeeze Natalia’s shoulder gently.
“You’re not a copy of me, there’s only one Natalia Stark and she is a much kinder, brighter young lady that I will ever be.”
@RedRoomDancer_@TitaniumArc “Upset? No no...”
Natasha shook her head, folding her arms in that sort of protective way very much in the same way as Natalia does.
“Though I must admit, when I heard that you danced it did bring back a lot of memories. Does she dance well?”
She asks, looking at Tony.
@RedRoomDancer_@TitaniumArc “No... no kid I don’t hate you...”
She shakes her head with a sad sigh.
“I’m just... you see this is a lot to take in you know? We may be identical in appearance, but I can see, you are you’re own young lady.”
@TitaniumArc@RedRoomDancer_ “Daddy?” She murmurs, raising her eyebrows slightly as the younger Stark stepped out of her suit.
The sight caught Natasha off-guard just a little, Natalia truly was identical.
@TitaniumArc@RedRoomDancer_ “I still can’t believe you built her one of those suits.”
She shakes her head, turning to the balcony of their headquarters as a small, purple, metallic dot appears in the distant sky.
