For a RELATIONSHIP to really work, you gotta understand this: You and your partner are TWO different people, with two different pasts, trying to build ONE future. You didn't grow up the same, you won't always think the same, and that's okay. What matters is HOW you handle it. Communicate without turning everything into an argument. Listen even when you're frustrated. Stop keeping score and start choosing growth. Because every disagreement shouldn't create distance. It should build understanding
I think the purest form of love is just wanting someone to experience life with you. "taste this. look at that. listen to this song." over and over. until you can't imagine experiencing life without them.
I understand that people get busy, and I’ll never expect to be someone’s only priority. But there’s a difference between being genuinely busy and simply not making an effort. When someone truly wants you in their life, they’ll find little ways to make time, even when life gets hectic. Effort is felt, and so is the lack of it.
Our media is in total blackout.
In case you don’t know what’s happening, yesterday over 15 NYSC members were kidnapped. Nobody is talking about it because the media is obeying Tinubu’s instructions.
These are people’s children; their parents spent years of hard work training them in university. 💔🤯
I have been paying my late uncle's wife's two children's school fees since 2024. Each term costs me about 240,000 naira covering both fees and books.
Earlier this year in February, she came to me with a plan. She wanted to start a business so she could lift the burden off my neck. She needed 500,000 naira. I gave her without hesitation.
Last term, she told me not to bother with the school fees anymore. She was ready to handle it herself. She had started selling thrift wears in the market.
Today she called and said she wanted to buy fuel for my car. I casually sent my account details.
This woman shocked me: She sent 50,000 naira.
She launched her boutique last week. She said it was her own way of saying thank you.
Some people will restore your faith in humanity when you least expect it.
Above all, love God.
Today in the morning, I came across this beautiful scripture: 1 Peter 5:7 "Stop stressing yourself out. God knows what you are facing, and He will provide." If God has been good to you, respond with
Amen. Please 🙏🏼
A woman has just given birth.
Everybody is happy. Then suddenly, she starts bleeding.
This is postpartum haemorrhage, and when it happens, no one has time to ask where the drug, tranexamic acid or TXA is.
That drug, Tranexamic acid can help reduce deaths from bleeding when it is given early after PPH starts.
So if a facility is providing emergency obstetric care, TXA should not be something they start looking for when the emergency has started.
It should be there.
As a man, if your wife is preparing to give birth, ask if the facility has TXA available. Same thing if you’re pregnant and preparing for delivery.
Ask questions. Know what is available.
Prepare before the emergency comes.
RT so that expectant mothers and fathers can see this very important message.

i love people who are genuinely churchy but still very much in touch with real life. like yes, they love Jesus, but they also know what’s going on in the culture.
You’re probably not more of a traditional man than me, I believe in gender roles but what separates me and you is “kindness”
I’m a kind partner, I won’t let my woman suffer because I believe cooking is a woman’s responsibility same way she doesn’t even allow bills pile up for me because it’s a man’s duty to provide
You didn’t even consider the distance she’s coming from, the stress or whatever you already expecting her to come home and straight to the kitchen to cook immediately, what happens to her coming home to food ?
Some of you are so inconsiderate, that’s even a softer word to use…..I’d say it’s wickedness and being selfish
I can cook, I work remotely which gives me enough time to do most of this…so why won’t I help out ?
Because Peller from X believes cooking should only be done by a woman?
Una funny o, worry about ursef and leave others to follow the dynamics that works for them , ✌️😂
In 2020, all I had was ₦20,000 I made from my days of playing Bet9ja.
My girlfriend at the time, who is now my wife, was a fresher at the University of Ibadan and needed some money to start a business.
I honestly didn’t think twice.
I sent her the money and supported her as she started her perfume business.
Later that same year, I made some really bad decisions.
A friend and I took money from some friends to trade with, and we lost everything.
We ran into serious debts, and things became crazy.
I had to sell almost everything I had.
I was depressed.
I got to a point where I considered selling one of my kidneys just to pay off the debts.
I even considered suicide.
Yeah, it was that terrible.
But while all of this was happening, something else was happening too.
My girlfriend’s business was growing.
And not just growing a little.
It was doing really well.
She was young. Beautiful. A student. She had her own money. She had every reason to walk away from a man who had nothing to offer at that point.
But she stayed.
She took care of me.
She fed me.
She clothed me.
She supported me.
She stood by me through what was probably the lowest point of my life.
Looking back now, I realise that she could have left.
There were probably many women who would have.
She had enough reasons to choose herself and walk away.
But she didn’t.
She stayed.
Today, when I think about the woman I have beside me, I don’t just see my wife.
I see the young girl who believed in me when I had nothing.
I remember those sacrifices.
I remember those difficult days.
And I just want to say:
Thank you, my woman. ❤️
Thank you for staying.
Thank you for believing.
Thank you for loving me when loving me wasn’t convenient.
I will never forget.
Dating to marry will make you realise that the "plenty of fish in the sea" narrative is false and a lot of people are really not worth that level of intimacy.
At this point, I don’t even want too much.
Give me a solid remote job, good pay, a laptop, stable internet and peace.
I just want to work, earn well and have a life outside work.
I just want peace.
I just found this beautiful Bible verse : MALACHI 3:10, The Bible say "I will pour out so much blessings that there will not be room enough to store it " This shall be your testimony..
i want a relationship where we can pray together, have serious conversations about life, laugh at stupid things, send each other ridiculous memes and genuinely enjoy being around each other.
