Sarki, I met my wife when she was just a medical student with nothing but big dreams and an unwavering determination to become a doctor.
I stayed by her side through the sleepless nights, endless exams, clinical postings, house job, and NYSC.
We got married while she was a Medical officer, and today she’s a Junior resident in Internal Medicine, working tirelessly toward becoming a senior resident next year inshallah.
Before we got married, people warned me.
“Don’t marry a doctor.”
“She’ll never have time for you.”
“You’ll be lonely.”
“Your children will be raised by housemaids.”
“Her career will always come before her family.”
Wallahi, every single one of those predictions has been proven wrong.
Since the day we got married, I have never felt neglected not for one day.
I have never had to compete with her career for her love.
Despite the exhausting calls, emergency shifts, sleepless nights, and the emotional weight that comes with saving lives, she still comes home and gives her best to us.
She is an amazing doctor to her patients, an incredible mother to our daughter, and the most loving wife I could ever ask for.
She makes our house feel like a home. She never makes me feel like I’m carrying this marriage alone, I’ve always encouraged her to fly higher.
The problem has never been working women. The problem is most people assuming that every successful working woman will neglect her home.
My wife is living proof that a woman can wear a white coat all day, save lives, chase her dreams, and still come home to love her husband and children with her whole heart.
If I had to choose a wife a thousand times over, I would still choose her every single time.

I came across what appeared to be a suspicious fuel-loading activity while refuelling at AA Rano on the outskirts of Kano. More than 100 jerrycans, each with a capacity of 50 litres, were being filled and loaded into this white vehicle.
I just found out there are women who go through their entire period with zero pain… and I’m honestly confused. 😭
Like your uterus is literally shedding its lining and you’re just… fine? No cramps? Nothing?!
Medical experts please explain, is this normal
What happened to minding our business please? For 4 days straight, all I’ve been seeing is Ahmed XM and his family. Don’t u people have ur own problems? Kun san nawa na siya Titus Sardine? Kun san kudin deodorant? Ko kun san bread ya dawo 1700? And Fuel is still 1330 😩😭

Telling people not to talk about insecurity because it makes this government look bad is the same as saying the lives of those killed are irrelevant & the lives yet to be affected aren’t worth protecting.

As Muslims, we are eternally grateful to Allah that, amidst all the chaos, we are able to perform Salah five times a day. It eases so much pain and brings tranquility and lightness to our hearts.
Dear @officialABAT, @officialSKSM
On your Democracy Day, tens of your citizens have been massacred by terrorists.
You have failed them as a govt, and as leaders.
Each and every one of them, including their sponsors, their informants and even the government officials responsible for securing our lives who have failed to do so, from the president downward! Allah Ya Isa!
In case we’ve forgotten, retired soldiers created a WhatsApp group and conducted a fundraising campaign to pay ransom to bandits for their colleague, Retired Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga, before it was later reported that he had been rescued by the NSA. Do you understand the level of deterioration a Country must reach for former military officers to contribute money to secure the release of a Brigadier General?
Just yesterday, I spoke to my wife about how Major Rabe’s situation has been bothering me, and she asked whether he had any health complications. I had even intended to record a video reminding us of our deafening silence while gallant men who fought for us, like Rabe and his family, remain in detention, only to receive this news now. I wish it were possible to give up, because we do not act like people who understand the gravity of the situation we are in. Allah ya isa
Yesterday, bandits attacked the Goran Namaye community in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
At least 17 innocent lives were lost, several others sustained injuries, and an unspecified number of residents were abducted.
Yet, look at what is trending across Arewa. It’s truly heartbreaking and pathetic that such a tragedy is receiving so little attention. 💔
