@LundieEducation We don't have a state monopoly now, but the danger is that a well-intentioned desire to prevent abuse and neglect inadvertently outlaws innovative alternative schools.

The state goes much further than registering who is responsible.

"Unregistered" schools are not inherently bad. We need a vision for how religious & other indoctrination can be kept in check without giving the state a monopoly on education.
