Our Health Science students held a Meet the Professional luncheon today with a meal by students in our Culinary program! Special thanks to our guests: Victoria Battershell, director of the nursing program at Tennessee Wesleyan, and Shawn Smith, administrator of NHC Oak Ridge!
Our Culinary Program prepared a meal for our Criminal Justice Program for a “Meet the Professional” luncheon! Special thanks to Sheriff Barker with ACSO, Lt. Walker with KCSO, Mr. Lewis with the 7th Judicial District Crime Task Force, and Jock Coleman with the Anderson County DA!
Cosmetology III students went and served our community at Meadow View Senior Living on Monday! These wonderful girls made these ladies feel special and it is always a privilege to have this opportunity.

Congrats to Donna Hopper for being voted Staff of the Month! Mrs. Donna is the glue that helps hold our school together! She wears many hats and helps keep our day to day running smoothly. Not only is she efficient but she is also kind and welcoming to all that visit us!
Congrats to Jacob Richards for being voted our Student of the Month! He is in our Auto and Ag programs. He is a kind and caring student that doesn’t mind to lend a hand to his peers. An instructor said: “He is always respectful, always doing his work, and he is a natural leader.”
Mr. Pyke and Mr. Woodard’s ACCTC Construction classes built 32 lockers for the Tennessee Weslean Baseball team last semester. After competing in the College World Series and finishing 3rd in the nation, they now have a locker room worthy of their ranking.

What an evening of surprises for ACCTC FCCLA! Mr. Herrell received Advisor of the Year, Mrs. H received the Distinguished Service Award for 2022. And… Last but not least the ACCTC Chapter of FCCLA received the Membership Campaign Award for substantially increasing membership.
Hosting students from Lake City Middle and Norris Middle today. They made butter in Culinary, danced in TAP, gamed in ComScience/DigArts, seen hair techniques in Cosmo, learned about tools in Machining, investigates crime scenes in Crim.Justice, and learned safety in Welding!

This morning we welcomed the family of Joe Forgety to be a part of our sign hanging. The walkway into our school is now named Joe Forgety Drive in honor of Mr. Forgety and the time and heart he put into our school system. We appreciate this family and the work of Mr. Forgety!
