An Upper Middle Class Bengali Family, staying at prime area in South #Kolkata returned from shopping last evening. They had their hands full with packets of all high end stores. After all it’s #DurgaPuja and shopping is legit.

This morning, their house help politely asked for her Pujo bonus. It’s an annual affair. We expect bonuses during Durga pujo, since it is the biggest festival here.

The response from the Lady was: “we can’t give you much this year. We are not in the pujo spirits. We are all seeking #justice for #RGKar. We are forgoing pujo and you should forego your bonus. We will give you something but not the entire bonus. In fact you too shouldn’t celebrate Durga Pujo this year”
