This year, amongst other things, I created a new podcast where I tell remarkable stories! Here is a thread of the episodes so far. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed creating them. 😊🎈

When God calls, he asks that you put away foolish things and give up ambition.
In order to embrace his mission, he commands you to do things his way and in his time.
The path may appear open-ended and fantastic. But it is only because he is stretching your imagination.
It may seem confusing but it is because you are shedding control.
So, trust the process and be patient.
Can care be done without any skin in the game? Should we entrust the care of a relative to someone who has no personal investment or interest in them?
My latest essay, The Burden of Care in “I care a lot” is now out on @1807intime

There is no digital without analog. There is no internet, cloud, and magical money transfers without cables, ships, and people.
A lesson for Africa. Digitization will come only after real value is created. Digitization, by and large, is an efficiency innovation
Go Visible or go home! - how to be visible in the work place.
The above mantra is one of the key messages I took from a leadership coach - Mute Efe.
I often belong to the school of thought that at work, let your work speak for you. In fact my mantra was a quote from Henry J. Kaiser - “When your work speaks for itself, don't interrupt.”
I am often private about these things, but for anyone who’s desired to know, I created every cover in the tweet below (and created a few other illustrations) for minister @DunsinOyekan

Happy birthday Olugbala araye.
Married twitter will try to hijack your day.
But don't worry, I'm specifically celebrating you by having you in my heart.
May joy rise to meet you
And grace hold your hands
When the dawn comes with mercies new
May your heart rejoice
But even in darkness and when no one else is around
May you find new melodies and chords to sing in the midnight hour

If you understand entropy you understand that by doing nothing with your life you choose to slowly drown in chaos. You don’t stay the same. You dig yourself deeper into a hole without trying. The good life demands consistent effort toward your own goals.
Feeling your feelings and enlisting community support is critical when dealing with collective grief. Civil rights lawyer @SIfill_ spoke with APA President @drthema earlier this month about the role of mental health in democracy.

There are a lot of stories in my past that I need to share. But not yet, I have so many mountains I yet want to climb.
Let me just take a detour to say how incredibly proud I am of what Adebola and I have created. You know you’ve created something truly special when you have FOMO over that something; where you find yourself wanting to brag to a new generation of people ‘Do you know I created that?’ 🥰
We founded TFAA when we were all three of us teenagers. We had two other co-founders abandon us, who didn’t think this would amount to anything.
Here we are, 17 editions later.

In Nigeria.
This prize - which has been hosted by the Africa Union, been hosted literally in the Aso Rock Villa and has celebrated young people from about 20 African countries.
Even as we remain the product owners, it’s been about five years since I was involved in any of the planning for this event. Think about that: In Nigeria - one of the biggest youth platforms in the region, and neither of the co founders were involved in any real way. This may sound boastful, but it’s only the depth of my pride - you can’t find any similar platform that has that scale of succession planning around these parts.
I just found out a few days ago that the nominees list had been released! And when I saw the list and then saw the excitement by this generation’s brightest lights - it made me cry. That is exactly what we wanted to do when we created this.
My proudest achievement continues to be fully handing over sparkling brands we created and seeing them still sparkle - https://t.co/TabOC8Rvyx, Rubbin’ Minds, Red Media Africa, StateCraft Inc. and this. That’s the only reason I reluctantly became an entrepreneur in the first place - to build, scale and transfer.
This story will be told one day, insha Allah.

It's mental health day today. For many deep & touchy reasons mental health is a subject that is very important to me. I wrote this poem in 2021 & it was published at @SprinngLM

Avoid gatherings where people tell you things cannot be done. After all I was also told I couldn't go through Unilorin without carry-overs from failing a course.
That you cannot do something doesn't mean somebody else can't.
Past Lives is a wonder of a film.
A poignant and patient piece with immense subtle performances from the actors. It’s one of those films you watch with a smile because of the careful and tender nature of its delivery.
Thank you, Celine Song.
