Sooo much bargaining in heterosexual relationships. Women can be so detached from our own humanity that it becomes second nature to use ourselves and our bodies as bargaining chips. The word ‘give’ in relation to our own body is an example of this.

it's useful feedback if a person’s child resents them. the parent could hve lifted mountains, it's not what the child needed. likely the parent was following a script instead of precisely learning the child in front of them. the choices adults make are not for a child to mediate.

My mother was a SAHM for a good chunk of my childhood and it never bothered me. She would be in her room minding her business while I frolicked through the house making food, doing whatever. I had my own room to retreat to and so did all of my siblings. I think a lot of you just hate your mothers lol.

This SAHM conversation is…😬 People have always criticized whatever women choose to do. It doesn’t matter if you stay home, work outside the home part-time or full-time, work multiple jobs, etc.

Make the decision, and be grounded in your choice.
