I also can’t make you glow in the dark or give you superhero powers. Bummer, I know. I can, however, test your breath holding abilities (especially if I forget to tell you to breathe after exposure) and make you feel like you’re peeing your pants on the table (IV contrast).
Hi. My name is Bethany Caston, RT (R) and I am a Radiologic/CT Technologist. Not a Radiologist. Not a nurse. Not a doctor. I can’t legally dictate imaging results, push meds, or treat you. Nor will I fry your skin with Hiroshima levels of radiation by doing an X-ray or CT scan.
I was watching a video of a cheer we did for football season that popped up in my FB memories and Tanner was like, “My gosh…what is that noise? Where’s that at? Why were y’all so loud? I’m glad Timbo didn’t have cheerleaders or I would have knocked them in the head.”
Gee thanks.
I started buying some medium shirts thinking I could wear them for a while longer and now they’re getting too big on me.😭 I guess that’s a good problem to have though.🤷🏽♀️ #strugglesofanaspiringgymrat🏋🏽♀️💪🏼🐁
Sometimes Tanner will do or say something that makes me stop for a minute in shock that someone could care so much about me and treat me so well. I honestly could never thank God enough for him.
Since it’s 2021 can we normalize dogs having “service humans” and going everywhere with their person because I hate seeing how sad Harper is when we leave her.
I enjoy the confusion/surprise when guys immediately ignore me and start talking to Tanner about squirrel dogs/hunts until Tanner points to me and says, “Talk to her. It’s her deal. I’m just the driver.”
I dread shorts weather because I honestly look like someone has beat the crap out of my legs. Bruising easy and having a Frenchie don’t mix well. I find new bruises every day.🤦🏽♀️
I think the most heartbreaking, yet heartwarming experience working at a hospital as a Radtech is being called to a code blue and then being called to the nursery for a newborn baby.
