He is a sewing machine operator who earns only $7 an hour and works 11-hour days in a Downtown, Los Angeles factory.

Martinez began working in Downtown, Los Angeles garment factories since 1979.

Javier earns about $9 per hour to iron clothes at a sewing contractor that produces clothes for TJMaxx.
