@FortunateFields@oidonhagouda There is no way I’m not taking off my shoes in the house. And I’m a foreigner. Go figure.
I don’t want to bring dirt inside.
There is also a big difference between Japanese wooden flooring and the granite tiles at home in my country.
If you like to live in the dirt, go for it.🤷
@KaihatsuYT Utterly insane price.
Same goes for cameras and any other used gear or hobby item. Like finding now a certain camera on sale for more than 40000 yen when I bought the same model in 2018 for 300 yen. In the same chain store.
Thank you tourists😐
@q68975276@KaihatsuYT I remember those days. Like buying perfectly working game cubes for 50 YEN each. Now we have hordes of tourists that buy everything and bring it abroad in huge quantities, so other than the general increase of the cost of life here the price for used merch is skyrocketing.
@nataschanashali@harukaawake All of the above, without a doubt. I would also add “do not complain all the time about the country that is hosting you”. There are positive and negative aspects in every country and we must accept that. Also, “show respect”. We are guests here.
