When someone truly cares for you - you don’t need to pay them for support. People will freely stand up for what they believe is right.

In other words - they did the exact thing they repeatedly accused Nick’s supporters of doing. “They” because I’m of the belief it was more than one person. Consider the source - and the language used. Seems to me like evasive responses carefully curated to avoid perjury.
