An Arsenal fan and a Naturalist.... Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter for man: Fear God and keep his commandments. Eccl.12:13 #Selah
Real squeaky bum time for Arsenal fans. Big worry for them is that the defence is creaking and they've started shipping multiple goals. 2 against City,Southampton and now today. You can tell the pressure is cooking the players. Next game is a must win else it's over.
“The best you can do for yourself, don’t chase who doesn’t like you.
The most miserable thing that can happen to you is to be with somebody that you were there second choice.”
- Pastor Lawal Dolapo
Inner healing was one of the things Jesus said he was anointed to do. Past hurts that have now become wounds, if not properly addressed, become triggers that satan uses in temptations.
Pray, pray, pray. Pray in faith, believing until you receive an assurance in prayer. A lot of sounds over your life may not come to pass if one doesn't enter into focussed prayer for a season.
Remember, Elijah heard the sound of abundance of rain, but it would never have rained if he didn't enter into the posture and practise of prayer.

A sports car appeared in front of me this morning, revving its loud engine as it sped off. I was driving a regular car, but I decided to follow (at my usual speed) just to see how far ahead it would get.
Until the moment it branched onto another street, it never really got far, despite the quick jolts, sharp maneuvers, and roaring engine. Why?
Speed bumps here and there and Too many cars in the way.
It made me realize that sometimes, it’s not about what you’re capable of, it’s about where you’re able to express what you’re capable of.
It’s not just about what’s under the hood; it’s about the hood you’re in.
I’ve seen this Pastor Dolapo’s video before but watching again seems so fresh…
So profound especially to the Pentecostal church of today always desperate to press into portals & realms
My Dad went on a spiritual journey for me.
While I was still in school, there was this guy who was obsessed with me.
It wasn't normal, and I hadn't experienced it before.
He would send me endless cryptic messages, tell me he wanted to marry me, and, in the same vein, threaten me that I didn't have a choice.
For the first few weeks, I kept it to myself, but he sent me one particular message, and I knew right there that it was beyond me.
So I went into my Dad’s home office and told him everything that’s been happening and showed him all the messages.
That same week, this guy came to my parents' house, demanded to see me, and nobody opened the gate for him.
He slept outside all night long.
When we woke up in the morning, he was there.
That was the scariest thing I had experienced up to that point.
It was clear that he had a mental illness.
I can't quite recall all the measures my dad took to protect me, but I can not forget one thing he did.
He went on a 7-day fast.
He did the first 3 days dry and had only liquids until day 7.
He also had vigils every night without involving me or anyone else.
Even though I had the problem, I had full meals during that period.
After those 7 days, I did not hear from this guy again.
Not one message, not an appearance, nothing.
My Dad is my superhero.
He would always say, a time will come in your life when your human capabilities and knowledge will fail you.
Don't forget to keep God central in your life.
That was one of the miracles I experienced in my life, and I have my Dad to thank for it.
Guys, it’s okay for a man to cry…but never in front of your woman.
Do it privately, gather yourself quickly, and don’t wallow in self-pity. Life is unfair and nobody is coming to save you. Wipe your tears, set your face like a flint and go again!
I am Ezemmuo. I know things.
Yes, I am married.
Been married for 12 years.
I have two kids.
For 12 years, I held demanding jobs and had an insatiable thirst for more knowledge.
I did not have a standard priority at any given time.
For instance. The first quarter of every year is my busy season, and my job takes precedence. I am mostly at work 5 days a week, for anywhere between 10-15 hours, depending on the project and as we approach deadlines.
During that time, my husband is fully on the ground to support the kids, does the chores, and there is a lot of eating out.
I make the most of the weekend to make sure I get those 2 days to spend with them.
After my busy season, Family takes precedence. I work regular hours and spend the rest of my time with my family.
My career has never been affected by having a family.
For a house I was building, I gave a plumber money to buy pipes. The way he was doing the fittings, I realised that he is a local plumber. I got a developer to lend me his plumber who now helped with all the fixtures and fittings.
We finished the tiling of all the bathroom floors and walls and opened the water. Water was just spurting out of the walls. We had to break all the tiles to see that all the pipes had long cracks in them. I called him and he said maybe the pipes could not carry the pressure of the water and that we needed to change the pipes.
I asked him to do a quote for stronger pipes and he did. As I was about to send him the money, I just had a brainwave. I asked him where he wanted to get the pipes from and he said DeiDei. I asked him to enter the car, let’s go. He looked somewhat shaken.
When we got to the shop that he wanted, I gave the list he had written to the guy and asked him to be bringing the material. As you know, a plumber's quote is unintelligible to a non-plumber. It turned out that the prices were like one-third cheaper than what he quoted. I asked him if he was sure that we had got everything he wrote and he said yes.
The plumber then said that he wanted to quickly check something in the next shop. While he was gone, I asked the guy selling the pipes whether he was sure that these were good pipes because we are having to change everything because of the bad pipes we bought earlier. He said it was the plumber who had selected the pipes that had been outside for a while and had become brittle. They were cheaper and the plumber had said he would take them like that.
I didn’t say anything to the plumber until we got home. I now called him into my study and told him what he had done in his mother tongue, which he didn’t know I could speak. Not in English.
Apart from deliberately buying expired pipes, he still wanted to cheat me again with the prices for buying better ones. That was apart from having to change all the tiles and pay again for tiling. I told him that he is a very wicked man and that I will make sure that he doesn’t do it to another person.
I then brought out a bag that I told him contained all the “instruments” with which I would lay a curse on him.
He immediately lay on the floor and started begging. He said it was the devil that had entered him and that I should please not lay a curse on him and add to his problems. For some reason, the catapult that I had bought from Yankari Games Reserve, which was hanging on the wall behind me, seemed to scare him more than anything else.
He said that he was willing to forfeit all his labour to compensate me. I told him that spiritually, it is wrong to withhold the money of anybody who earns a living from his sweat and the strength of his hands and that I would be cursing myself if I accepted his offer.
I told him it is easier for me to just pay him his labour, lay the curse on him and let him go and be dealing with it in his future. He screamed again in fear and rolled on the floor begging.
Eventually, we agreed that I would pay him for his labour and he would now refund me the money I spent on buying the pipes again. He gratefully accepted, gave me the money back and ran out of the compound with speed.
I lost more than he did but I somehow suspect that he may have learnt some lessons. I certainly did.
Good morning this fine morning. 😀
You would have less problems in a relationship if you could anticipate stressful situations that you are likely to face and prepare for them before they happen. Quite often, we only stop to think about what the root cause of the argument could be AFTER things have gone wrong in the relationship.
Things that stress a relationship include being broke, weddings, pregnancy, childbirth, moving house, losing a job or a business opportunity, monthly hormonal changes, menopause, andropause, bereavement and illness.
If possible, think: “My partner is or will soon be going through xyz. I will make an effort to be as supportive as possible. They may lash out out of frustration but I will do everything I can to be patient and supportive” or “I am or will soon be going through xyz and may lash out out of frustration. I will try not to do that and not make my partner suffer for something that is not their fault.”
If you could do that in advance, you are more likely to avoid problems in your relationship.
I am Ezemmuo. I know things.
During the weekend, I attended a church member's Son 10th Birthday party.
I went late because I had lots to do at home. Hubby and the kids already left ahead of me.
When I got there, most people already left and I apologized to her for coming late.
I went to her kitchen, drained the dirty sink and washed all the dishes, then swept with my first daughter and started helping her clear the tables where the food were laid for people to serve themselves while the men were taking down the tents in their yard.
She walked into her kitchen and was stunned. She shouted, "Mom Sharon, you shouldn't have, she was so happy and hugged me. I saw the relief in her eyes. She said she will just go to sleep straight after we were gone and finished up tomorrow. That I have helped her to do the most.
Her hubby gave me those wines When I was leaving, collected the car keys from me and packed all the food his wife packed for me to my trunk and added the wine.
And that is how I live my life. I would think of what I would have loved people to do for me if I were in there shoes, and do it for them.
I once had a friend who lost a loved one. I wasn't even that close to her. But supported her throughout the phase. She asked me why I did that.
I said I don't know, but I had a void I wished I have had someone to fill it for me when I lost my Mom. But no one was there. So I tried to fill same void for you.🥺
She prayed for me and cried on the phone. 🥺🥺
And thats how I roll. I look for what I would love people to do for me if I were in their shoes, and do it for them.
Life is not hard. Just put aside your pride and be a blessing to people close to you. Doesn't always have to be money.
Act of service goes a long way too.
Be a Blessing to have around. Be a blessing to those around you.
