AI for drug discovery

Generative AI was used to produce selective protein antagonists of the pro-inflammatory TNF receptor, TNFR1, that do not bind TNFR2 (which is anti-inflammatory)

This could improve the anti-inflammatory effects of current TNFα therapies (like Adalimumab) which block both TNFR1 and TNFR2
