@peer_rich exactly! ai and X help you find out if what you made is actually wanted! made a game the other day using opus 5.5 which i liked a lot, posted on X and found out how wrong I was. it still hurts. imagine pre-ai spending months and this happens!

I made this entire game with Claude Opus.
Blip, a little robot, races to build its way out of a data center that is going dark behind it.
Code, pixel art, music and sound effects all done by Claude Opus.

I have been using Opus 5.5 for the past few days, and one thing that stands out is that it rarely loses the plot and is very consistent. I had been trying to refactor a codebase into clean architecture, and even Fable was lacking. It did improve some parts at the expense of other parts, and I was in some kind of catch-22 with it. With Opus, I finally see everything falling into place.
@tobi I do not understand all the negativity. I just wonder if it is as fast as WizTree on Windows. One maybe good feature would be to filter by date to see since when large files crept for example!

@sergeynazarovx cool I have not seen other people on my timeline. I am also writing one (no video just GIF) ! Mostly finished. it will be free under 2 MB for Windows.

I'm building a lightweight screen capture tool for Windows this weekend.
No subscriptions, open-source, completely free.
This is what is on my list for v1:
- Pinned captures with non-destructive cropping
- Editable annotations
- GIF recording
- Timed captures
What is the most annoying pain point you have with your current tool? Add it under this post!
Bookmark this post. I will drop the repo link right here in a few days.

@thdxr The code always looks ugly when you check it a few months later no matter if you or ai has written it! At least with ai you can get up to speed quickly.
