A short breakdown on how we did the terrain for #Somerville! Joining the project in 2020, I worked to developed a solution to efficiently match the style seen in the concept art by @_Calader. Let's take this field section found early in the first act. 1/?
It's been a year since we launched Somerville! 🥳 Time flies when you're journeying through altered landscapes & alien encounters. To celebrate & thank you for your support, Somerville is 50% off on Steam until 20 November. 🎂

@thrmoptc Not in a position at the moment, but some day, I'll have my very own 60s/70s brutalist super-villain base/lair. Bonus point if it's a major eye-sore in a close proximity to the center of a small-ish English town.
Here is another very early piece of #SomervilleGame concept art, with a peak at the early exploration sketches that produced it:

@nikodemmalec93 @ArtStationHQ Thanks, a ton more to post, there might be a few more things you've seen, until I get to the more obscure stuff we couldn't show before! :)
Almost one year after #SomervilleGame, about time to share some extra concept art. You might have seen this particular one, but there are more sketches and thumbnails to the aistation.
