Succinctly put!! Flick is playing the long game.

PSG vs FCB

Ideales: Rodri y Pedri. Ayer Flick fue inteligente. Les rotó a ambos. ¿Lo hubiera hecho en Abril? No.

No

Lol. We know what the outcome in Algiers would be. They are definitely getting a penalty of their own for starters.

Watching Messi today is like seeing the most gorgeous of sunsets. Perhaps the sun isn’t at it brightest, but as it hits the horizon it’s a glowing red that is breathlessly captivating.

I know we’re close to the end, but he doesn’t play like it. He scores the same goals from a decade ago. The ones that made you ask how someone can do that? He’s able to produce that feeling of wonder…still.

But every goal means we’re closer to the last.

Look up, the sky around you has all different colors. Red, purple, orange, yellow, blue, white…it’s beautiful. The last goodbye.

Be grateful you’re on this planet to witness it.

Nobody has 6 Ballon d’Ors. He has 8.
Nobody has 5 European Golden Shoes. He has 6.
Nobody thought 45 trophies was within reach. He has 48.
Nobody thought 400 assists was even in the conversation. He has 427.

Jamie Carragher nailed it. Lionel Messi is transcendent.🐐

I can hear the disappointment in his tone. He’s right about that bit; Nigeria is a very disappointing country. It is like Spurs were a country, but even they pulled a Europa League out of their ass.
