@YukikoYukimura I’m convinced people get a high being cruel on a matter they deem “deserves” it, and doing so in public where they know a good amount of others will agree makes it all the more indulgent ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
People need to learn to leave others alone. Not everything needs a catty qrt…
@YukikoYukimura There’s always been awful people in fandoms, but the sheer volume of negativity and malice fandoms these days cultivate so easily and regularly is something to behold, really…
@YukikoYukimura The more time passes, the worse fandoms have become. A shockingly excessive amount of people are awfully cruel toward absolutely anyone, without caring to dignify those they target with due humanity. There’s only so far “it’s only the loud few” can go, when that “few” is growing.
Tbh I held off playing last update and instead played it a day before this current one and honestly I think that was the better idea, felt like a more cohesive story all at once, so I may end up doing this again later
Side note but I just think it’s Interesting™️ that all of these are crossed out in cyan, the color that overtakes the Fount’s golden eye and what ultimately visually solidifies his corruption into Shadow Milk
I always liked the idea that the paintings in the Spire don’t just show different identities Shadow Milk took during entire eras, but they also represent FAILED eras, where for one reason or another SOMETHING happened that caused him to abandon his life as that form

Timekeeper deciding to swing by and visit the Sage of Truth after everything is taken care of and he’s all collected on the outside but inside he just ecstatically rescheduled that century’s due breakdown off until the next millennium out of pure delight
@LunaMarsmellow I believe the teachers are more of a corrupted unnatural variant on account of getting corrupted with the powers and corrupted souls of the opened dimensional rift. They perished during all that and now are restless and messed up from it rather than just being regular ghosts 🤔
Imagine that the employees at the Spire are just ghosts from Ghost City that Shadow Milk hired to work for him (or manipulated them into the work) when he stopped being the Headmaster and left Blueberry Yogurt Academy
@LunaMarsmellow Based on the Ice Cream Ghost’s comment on students “not coming around anymore” as well as the Ferryman winning the ice cream contests in the past from being a skeleton ghost, I’m heavily leaning toward the city always being a Ghost one, but could always be wrong!
@LunaMarsmellow At the very least the First Headmaster has wayyyyy more outright connections in this case, so it would be much more of a shock if Shadow Milk doesn’t end up being him or at least be heavily connected in some way 🙏
Tbh yeah it would be funny if the Headmaster doesn’t end up being Shadow Milk in the end
I would be sad about it because it makes SENSE and is interesting and it fits so well, but it WOULD be a little funny
