There were a few resources that I referenced during my #blend2022 talk, so I thought that I could share them here! I'll also link to some that I didn't mention but were very influential to how I learned to deal with friction:
Here we go! ⚡️
I signed up for a LARP at #gencon so I reached out to the GM to say I was bringing a 6mo baby and could they incorporate that into my character?
I got a character sheet saying I was a minor noblewoman who had recently had a baby… or so it appeared to others. 1/3
I've been asking my male friends to do something - *watch if the first response to everything a woman tells you is to refute, say no or something negative*
One texted me later: Holy f*ck
The problem is, constantly putting up with unwarranted resistance is bad for mental health.
I started with Canva - got the general look and feel but _the lines just won't line up_
Then tried Affinity Designer and... it's not the same Illustrator :(

The next time an older relative comments on my weight, I'm going to reply with my latest workout.
"Your wedding is coming up! Are you losing weight?"
"I split squatted 32kg and swung steel maces around my head a bunch of times last night!" 💪

I'm such a makeup newbie so this is super helpful! I've been thinking about playing around with soft contours but am so worried about things not matching my skin tone. Knowing where to start helps so much.
@conniechiiiwa I've always wanted to try Tower 28 and Milk, so I got Tower 28's blush in Magic Hour and lipgloss in Oat, and the Milk mini set that has their primer, mascara and blush. Also got a lipgloss from a Canadian Indigenous brand called Cheekbone Beauty.
