@sociallion @NickHarrisFWST See I think nearly everyone would agree that being 1cm offside doesn’t give anyone an unfair advantage. Been discussions about that since the start of VAR but a line does have to be drawn somewhere. I think it hasn’t been changed yet just because there’s no easy answer

@sociallion @NickHarrisFWST I’ve seen people argue there should be no offside rule at all which would just cause Hail Mary type passes, if you’ve played street football or in parks you’d know everyone hates a goal hanger and just kills the fun
