#bbccricket the big question now is whether England can avoid an innings defeat? In recent times when backs are to the wall the England batting disappears in a hail of terrible shots so I’m not optimistic…
@ColinMurray loving listening to the Football Songbook, as always. You must get asked this most weeks, but is there any chance of a book of the series being made? The stories behind the songs are fascinating no matter which club you support
#BBCFootball Signing Asensio and Rashford are a coup for Villa but it will mean little if we don’t bring a couple of defenders in. We have one fit CB and one fit RB with two younger squad players going out on loan today. Unless the plan is to score 5 if the opposition score 4.
@leo_fordham@AlexHartley93@bbctms@tmsproducer I laughed out loud at this. What makes it for me is you can hear Alex in fits of laughter off-mic. Aggers and Alex are always worth listening to when they are together on commentary
As the season draws to a close - big shout out to the #bbccricket live text team. Every match they’ve been there and have been a constant open tab for me all summer. Informative and witty - they should get more credit than they do. Will miss this until next April
Here we go again. Winterbourne View, Whorlton Hall… nothing has changed so this still happens. And it will continue to until there is fundamental change in the system. Children mocked and held in headlocks by staff at special needs school https://t.co/Zs9ewFpctV
@IKEAUK is your website working properly? Trying to make an online order via mobile and the page keeps freezing when I try to change the delivery to home safe. Very frustrating.
@maryohara1 I agree so much with this. So many times you see politicians, celebrities etc at sporting events and they probably aren’t even interested, they’re going for the hospitality. Imagine if they gave the tix to ordinary fans who couldn’t afford it.Imagine the atmosphere they’d create
@RogersHistory Not a teacher but know lots and I have heard of this going on. Decent teachers who were deemed to ‘not fit’ at a school were hounded out and then found it difficult to get jobs elsewhere
@90sfootball One of my favourite ever games… remember saying to friends “if only you could combine this with a management game” and lo and behold came Sensible World of Soccer. Played it endlessly back in the day. Hani Ramzy was always in my squads…
Amazing Ashes series for both men and women. Every match has been compelling and so tight - swung between both sides - could only have been better if England had won rather than drawn! #BBCCricket
@ThatRyn @poornabell Definitely this. As a dad with 3 kids, if one is sick or has an appointment I have to take the time out to go with them (I work freelance from home which helps but still time out of working day when people expect you at your desk) And if I’m sick… I just have to carry on.
