@ThePumpkinPunk Cat's are such an elite animal. They're all cute and soft and have such strong personalities. We also have her twin sister and they're like two peas in a pod but in different fonts. Like, you can tell them apart and just ahdndkxkx

Basically, DD is a squirrel/ human hybrid located in Limbo. Using her ability to shapeshift, she avoids having to pay rent or need a stable place of residents. After a chance encounter with Dante, they end up getting a job at the pizza place he usually orders from.

As well as making sure the Limbo branch of Squirrel Nation is OK. This sort of mimics Kat's abilities as a medium, although DD can't enter/ wander around Limbo itself. They just get the creeps everywhere while sensing it.

I also believe that animals can see/ sense ghosts and that belief extended to DD realising that not was all it seemed with Dante. This then turns into them trying to get to the bottom of her suspicions while trying to juggle the responsibilities of having human sensibilities.

Dante likes to give random, small hugs and kisses/ generally being close. Kat has a habit of pebbling or sending pictures of random things that 'remind her of us'. 🐿
